The South Dakota Fire Chiefs Association (SDFCA)
represents the interests of over 350 fire chiefs in the State of South
Dakota. South Dakota has an incredibly
diversified fire service. Many
departments operate with just a handful of dedicated volunteers, while larger
cities like Sioux Falls have significant numbers of full time personnel. One of the most important goals of the SDFC
is to advocate for fire safety improvements and education in the private and
business sectors that protect the citizens in our communities as well as our
own personnel.
